What is it?
History
Nome Ltd. was found in Oulu year 2005. Business idea was to bring the latest knowledge of preventive maintenance to everybody.
In previous posts in Finnish industry the founders came across with the idea of an independent company providing all tasks related to preventive maintenance. In this business were many companies providing some speciality in this area mainly to support the sales of their main products. Nome's idea is to provide all these services without the need to promote any other products. We provide the customer with correct tools and knowledge to make better profit with the machinery onsite. Nome works as an independent service company in all areas of industry.
Nome today
Nome has developed it's products and services according to needs and wishes of customers. First action was to start sales of related equipment. Cooperation with CTC provided Nome with accelometers, cables and other accessories. CTC is one of largest manufacturers of accelometers.
Since then Nome has started cooperation with F'IS, FORT and Citius Imaging. F'IS provides Nome with different kinds of vibration measurement systems. FORT has endoscopes and microcameras. Citius Imaging offers it's high speed camera solutions to Nome's product range.
Future
Nome's customers represent almost every area of industry. Working in all areas gives us the possibility to collect best practices from different kinds of mill sites. We have also seen how differently things can be done in different industries. In some mills the utilization rate is over 95 % and some others think 75 % is a good value. Nome helps it's customers to improve their productivity in a long lasting way.
